Electric Era is designing, building, and testing high power, battery-enabled charging stations to provide the necessary infrastructure needed for the affordable and timely electrification of transportation. Our high power EV charging stations are a critical piece of infrastructure for the electrical grid and accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles.
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will own critical structural, fluid, and thermal systems that enable our safe, high-performance, and affordable charging stations. You will have direct ownership of subassemblies and will design with attention to cost analysis, design for manufacturing, regulatory requirements. You will work closely with Electric Era engineering leadership to develop high performance hardware and improve your skills.

Your contributions will be critical to the long-term success of the company. The Electrical Engineering Intern will own key architectural and board level projects that contribute to critical system level milestones and subassembly test campaigns. This technical work will also be complemented by detailed cost analysis, design for manufacturing, and regulatory approval. The Electrical Engineering Intern will work closely with Electric Era engineering and business leadership to define the electrical systems for our products and support product installations in the field.

Electric Era is hiring a VP of Production to oversee and lead the development of our production and supply chain teams. This role is responsible for making sure that our products are easy and cheap to manufacture at scale, built on time and to high standards of quality, managing the production and supply chain deliverables, and the development of all quality, supply chain, and production processes and systems.
You will work closely with finance, operations, engineering, software, implementation and revenue to ensure the timely delivery of customer orders. You will report weekly to the executive staff on progress and operational efficiency of your organizations. You will be responsible for hiring and team talent development. You will oversee the business relationship and coordinate the supply chain and logistics for a global vendor base in North America, Asia, and Europe.
