Electric Era fast charging stations added to Rivian navigation
Rivian drivers will see Electric Era charging station information like speed and availability directly from the infotainment navigation
We are excited to share that Electric Era charging stations are now natively integrated into Rivian’s infotainment navigation system, making it easy for Rivian drivers to find and navigate directly to these fast chargers while on their adventures. Drivers will get real-time station data to make informed decisions, including charging speed and available ports. This update will roll out across Rivian vehicles starting today.

Unlike conventional DC fast chargers, Electric Era's patented battery-backed stations aren't constrained by local grid capacity—they can deliver full charging speeds even where grid power is insufficient to support them. That architecture opens up charging corridors that other networks can't serve, giving Rivian drivers more high-speed options in the locations where they need them most.
One great example is Love’s Travel Stop in Buena Vista, Colorado, providing four ports (CCS and NACS) with up to 200 kW per port. This station is the only charging station that provides greater than 100 kW per port on a long stretch of highways 24, 209, and 285 in Central Colorado.

Electric Era stations are currently available across 16 states, located at retail locations like Costco, Love’s, and Chevron.
"Rivian drivers already trust their infotainment navigation to get them where they're going—now Electric Era is added as a new fast-charging network to help further enable their adventures,” said Quincy Lee, CEO and Founder of Electric Era.
