Introducing our flagship station at Electric Era Headquarters
We’re excited to share that this fall we are opening our flagship public fast charging station at our headquarters in Seattle—and we're inviting the EV driver community to come experience it firsthand. The station will feature our RetailEdge EV charging platform with six charging kiosks.
“RetailEdge is what we believe EV charging should be—an exceptional experience, intelligent, and friendly with our increasingly strained grid,” says Quincy Lee, CEO and Founder of Electric Era. “We have truly world-class engineers who put everything into this platform, and have delivered a remarkable product. The next generation of EV fast charging is here.”

We started at the hardware level
Over the last six years we’ve observed and experienced the communication challenges between vehicles and charger hardware, firmware, and software—the number one reason why there’s historically been such inconsistency in EV charging performance. That’s why we decided to go deeper and redesigned the dispenser control board from the ground up, giving us direct, precise control over the communication between the EV and the charger. That means better reliability, faster diagnostics, and a foundation we fully own and can tune over time.
The hardware design itself is a statement. The kiosks are less than 10 inches thin—genuinely novel for a fast charger—with a premium aesthetic that lets retailers place charging in prominent, high-traffic locations rather than tucking it away in a corner. This is infrastructure that fits and belongs at the front of the store, which is a win for both retailers and drivers.
We reinvented the charging experience
It's also not a screen bolted onto a charger. It's a fully designed interactive system built around a 27-inch touchscreen, dynamic audio, and an integrated camera—and anchoring it all is HaloAI, the first ever on-charger AI-powered charging assistant.
Halo is there for the driver. Ask it a question about your charging session, learn about your EV, or find out what deals are available in the store. It's the kind of experience that makes a 20-minute charging stop feel less like waiting and more like a service. For retailers, it's a direct, intelligent connection to their customers at exactly the right moment. It’s the rare combination of adding value while reducing operating costs.
We made it grid-friendly
It includes our signature Energy Intelligence Platform that’s designed to work with the grid, not against it. It optimizes across grid limitations, energy sources, real-time energy pricing, and power requested by each plugged-in vehicle, to allocate power to EVs as efficiently as possible. Paired with on-site battery storage, the result is a station that performs consistently without putting undue strain on the grid.
Come experience it for yourself
Our Seattle flagship station is the first public deployment of the RetailEdge platform—six fast charging kiosks, a battery, and everything above, live and open to the public. Come charge, meet Halo, and see what we've been building.
We hope to see you here charging!
