Electrifying the Golden State: Electric Era's Game-Changing EV Chargers Conquer California's Mountain Gap

 Today, I am thrilled to announce the opening of our 6th EV fast charging station and our first station in the State of California. We are powering up the first of many stations for our long-time customer Skycharger, providing their drivers with best-in-class reliability, a premium high-power charging location in a grid-constrained area, and industry-leading uptime.

Addressing Key Industry Challenges

Like most charging station operators, Skycharger came to us seeking solutions to their top pain points:

1. Lengthy and expensive utility grid upgrades
2. Lack of insights about charging station performance
3. Low reliability from other solution providers that may not adhere to new California Energy Commission compliance requirements

With our patented battery technology, proprietary vertically integrated software, and leading team of engineers, Electric Era delivered a high-end charging solution to address these issues.

Rapid Deployment and Real-Time Monitoring

We broke ground in June 2024 and opened to the public just two months later, avoiding lengthy utility delays. Our Command Console software allows Skycharger to assess their new station with real-time data analytics and monitoring. As with all Electric Era customers, Skycharger can now enjoy favorable driver Plugscore reviews, a loyal following of EV drivers, and elevated usage due to our leading charging session reliability and uptime.

New Skycharger Charging Station Details

• Location: Weed, California
• Capacity: 8 stalls of 200kW each

This is an especially exciting location as it fills a crucial gap in a mountainous region between California and Oregon where EV drivers have lacked reliable fast charging solutions. It's our 2nd largest station to date and the sister station to the 7 Feathers Charging Station just across the border in Canyonville, Oregon. EV drivers can now travel from Seattle to Redding, California, using charging stations powered by Electric Era.

Industry-Leading Performance

Over the last 365 days since our launch, we have served thousands of happy EV drivers and have achieved:

• An industry-leading Successful Charge Attempt Rate (SCAR) of 92%
• Uptime of 99.5%

These metrics deliver success when it counts for customers like Skycharger. We plan to release more details and our raw SCAR and uptime data in the coming months to share insights and knowledge across the industry, ensuring EV drivers can have the best experiences regardless of their chosen charging network.
